Reviews
My sister had tickets to see Jon B. (90's R&B singer).
She didn't have anyone to go with so she asked me. Of course I said yes!! Jon B. is an amazing singer, songwriter, and musician. I've been a fan since he hit the scene in 1995. My forever white chocolate boo ๐๐ โค๏ธโค๏ธ
Although I've passed this place many times en route to work, this was my first time at a City Winery venue. When you enter its spacious, a very nice ambiance, clean with friendly, professional staff. We talking grown folk level ๐
๐ฟ The seating area for the show is a bit tight tho. You have share a table with others. You can order food + drinks to have served to your table. They accept cards for payment.
The show was really good! Jon held it down ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Had me feeling like a teenager all over again ๐๐ฟ
I would definitely attend another show here if a fave artist is coming to town. It's accessible via Haymarket or North Station stops on the Orange line.
The venue is nice but there are a lot of seats packed in there. The seating is alphabetized. If you are a party of two and you pick seats A and D at a table you will be sitting across from each other as if out to dinner. If you pick seats A and B then you are sitting directly next to each other. You will have to turn your seats towards the stage or else you will leave with a crick in your neck. We ordered the hummus which was tasty. They had mocktails on the menu but when I attempted to order one they said they didn't have any of them available๐. It got a bit hot inside with the amount of people in attendance. The event was sold out. They did put on the air conditioning.
Incredible venue to see a live performance with great high end food options. Seat tables or high tops, great value no matter where you sit.
City Winery in Boston is a BEAUTIFUL place! Still looks brand new inside. Basic but pricey food in music venue. Happened to catch the Elvis show they had playing. Sound quality in the room was fantastic. Kudos to the sound guy and the room. Elvis show was a little bit of funny, a little bit of emotion, and a lot of rock n roll. Talk about an act that is a perfect, perfect fit for the City Winery main stage. Would easily return and see this again here. Few minutes away, walking distance, parking garage which is nice. Definitely worth checking City Winery out.
Music was absolutely fabulous. Great space for musicians and entertainment. Go to support the artists. Service is less than stellar. Constantly gets orders wrong and horrible table service. Very slow and not attentive.
1-11-24. Ok, one more again. This time the Purple Madness Band, Michael Miller and the band was amazing. Their tribute to Prince is a must see. Of course the food and service was great as always. You have to visit City Winery Boston. Iโll be back.
5-11-23. Iโm back and this time was better than the first. One of my favorite artists, Kamasi Washington gave a wonderful concert. Everything was perfect music, sound, atmosphere and food. You have to check out City Winery, oh did I say the wine is a must have.
5-2-22 Finally a night out in Boston again. This time I took my wife out for dinner and concert. Nia Ashleigh and her band was wonderful. I will go see here again. Oh yes, two thumbs up for the food at City Winery. The Malbec was on point too.
The best venue, great food, awesome bands. We had a pleasure to see Berklee students' tribute to Radio head! Awesome ๐ โฆ
The Sister Hazel concert was incredible! Please have them back soon! Sold out show!
